Known as the Capital of Alentejo, Évora, with its well-preserved historic center, it’s one of the richest clusters of monuments in Portugal, considered for this reason a City-Museum.

In 1986, the city’s historic center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Around it, it is still worth visiting Arraiolos, Estremoz, Redondo, Reguengos de Monsaraz, Portel, Viana do Alentejo and Montemor-o-Novo.
