The Arrábida region, with its Mediterranean climate and diverse landscapes – including beaches, bays, cliffs and rocky areas – offers ideal conditions for outdoor activities all year round. Promoting sport, especially cycling.

The region has the Arrábida Cycle Route Guide, which presents 13 routes with different levels of difficulty, spread across Palmela, Sesimbra and Setúbal. These routes allow cyclists to explore the most emblematic places in the Serra, regardless of their experience or objective.

NEW PICKLEBALL COURT AT THE
TURIM CLUB D'AZEITÃO HOTEL

The Turim Club d’Azeitão Hotel opened its new Pickleball court, providing a new leisure option for its guests and residents of the region. Pickleball is a sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis and has been gaining popularity around the world. The new court at the Turim Club d’Azeitão Hotel has official dimensions and is equipped with all the necessary tools for the practice of the sport.

The General Director of the Turim Club d’Azeitão Hotel, João Garrau, highlighted the importance of the new court’s inauguration for the hotel and the local community: “We are very pleased to be able to offer this additional leisure option for our guests and residents of the region. Pickleball is a fun and accessible sport that can be played by people of all ages and skill levels. We look forward to seeing the field in full use and to helping promote the sport here in Azeitão.”

Modernization of the Turim Presidente Hotel

The Turim Presidente Hotel, located right in front of the sea in the area of Praia da Rocha, underwent an exhaustive remodeling tocomfort and well-being of our guests.

Since its opening practically 30 years ago, the Turim Presidente has always been known for offering a quality service to its guests. As the years went by, it was necessary to make some adjustments and modernize the spaces to continue to deserve the preference of our guests.

This modernization included the renovation of all rooms and common areas, including the reception, bar, and restaurant. The rooms were completely refurbished, with a modern and elegant decoration. The common areas also underwent a total renovation, where some details reflect the Algarve inspiration.

The Turim Presidente Hotel now has a fully equipped gym, so that guests who like to keep fit during their vacations can do so.

The renovation of the Turim Presidente Hotel was completed in April 2022, and guests can now look forward to an even more luxurious and comfortable experience. The Turin Presidente Hotel team is looking forward to welcoming you to come and enjoy all these improvements and changes.

The view, this one, remains the same. A fantastic 360º panoramic view of the immense blue sea that bathes the golden sands.
